Welcome to the new Club Year October 2009 to September 2010
The club has a wide ranging membership both in terms of age, ranging from 7 year olds to over 90 year olds, places of residence from 200 yards from the Club house to France, Turkey, Japan & Australia, and interests from canoeing, dinghy racing, cruiser racing and cruising, as well as those who are happy just mucking around in boats.

Would you believe that over 230 families – that’s over 370 members live between Walton and Clacton including Frinton, Kirby & Holland and a further 25 families with 40 members live between Walton and Harwich. Wouldn’t it be lovely to see you all a lot more often; you’re all within about 25 minutes’ drive from the Club.

Currently the club has over 630 members, although we are having to chase a few subscriptions. The membership Year book and dairy will be published at the beginning of January, and, unfortunately, if you have not paid your subscription before the end of December, you will not be included in the year book.

So who can join? Everybody who has in interest in boating is more than welcome.
How do you Join? Ask for an application form from Jane in the Office or Paul in the Bar. This asks for your contact details and brief boat details (if you have one). We also prefer a Club member who knows you to propose you, but if you don’t know anyone in the Club, it is no problem.
